Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee financial compliance and manage BOI tax matters in alignment with company policies. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and regulatory adherence across multiple legal entities. Additionally, the manager will spearhead initiatives to enhance and streamline accounting processes through automation, while also leading and coordinating various financial projects at global, regional, and local levels to drive organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Responsibilities: Financial Compliance:• Ensure financial results comply with company policies, local GAAP, and IFRS for 4 legal entities, including one with BOI tax privileges• Prepare financial statements and reports, including statutory, tax audit, corporate, and BOI reports. Month-End Closing:• Lead the month-end closing process for timely and accurate financial data submission.• Monitor daily accounting transactions and ensure accuracy. Tax & Compliance:• Lead annual tax return filings and monthly direct and indirect tax submissions in compliance with Thai tax laws.• Address inquiries from Thai tax authorities and build strong relationships with them.• Manage inter-company transactions. Internal Controls:• Ensure proper internal controls are in place and effective.• Coordinate external and internal audits. Team Management:• Promote knowledge transfer and capability development within the team.• Collaborate with the Finance Operation team in India and other business stakeholders. Process Improvement:• Improve end-to-end daily processes, minimizing manual work with automation.• Lead or supervise ad-hoc financial/accounting projects at Global/Regional/Local levels. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields. Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting at the manager level. CPD License Knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and BOI regulations (IBC experience is a plus). Fluency in written and spoken English. Experience in MNC and managing overseas stakeholders. Strong interpersonal, analytical, time management, and multitasking skills; experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel. Effective team leader and player, capable of building strong stakeholder relationships. Proactive in understanding business complexity and entity structure.
