Our client is a leading global agricultural company, committed to sustainability and innovation across its operations. They are currently seeking a Data and Reporting Specialist – Sustainability to lead sustainability data management and reporting efforts across international operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to shape sustainability reporting, working closely with global teams to align data insights with strategic goals and CSRD-ESRS requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a structured data collection, analysis, and monitoring framework for sustainability initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-country teams (e.g. R&D, seed processing, operations) to gather and manage sustainability data
  • Monitor sustainability project progress, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and key performance indicators
  • Create and maintain interactive dashboards to visualise data trends and sustainability performance
  • Analyse data to produce regular reports that highlight progress, impact, and areas for improvement
  • Track sustainability KPIs to ensure alignment with the organisation’s commitments and strategic goals
  • Provide training sessions for internal teams on data collection and reporting tools
  • Curate and publish annual sustainability reports, newsletters, and communication materials

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Data Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage
  • 5–7 years of experience in sustainability data management and reporting, ideally in the agriculture or farming sector
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret complex technical data
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and dashboard platforms such as Power BI and Excel
  • Good understanding of sustainability frameworks, especially CSRD – European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS)
  • Familiarity with carbon accounting is preferred
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable adapting to regulatory changes and driving continuous improvement in sustainability data systems
