They are now seeking an experienced and proactive Financial Analyst & Reporting professional to join their team. This role plays a critical part in supporting the Business Unit (BU) Controller in the preparation of Business Estimates (BE), Rolling Forecasts (ROFO), Budgets, and the Mid-Term Plan (MTP) for the Cargo Business Unit. The role also includes responsibility for accurate and timely financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Assist the BU Controller in constructing Business Plans, Budgets, Forecasts, and Best Estimates
- Develop and maintain detailed Gross Contribution Margin (GCM) models to track performance across product lines, customer segments, and regions
- Analyse GCM, pricing, and volume trends to assess their impact on financial performance
- Produce weekly and monthly reports, including key indicators, financial results, and variance analysis (including overhead and Capex tracking)
- Build financial models to support variance analysis between actual results and forecasts/budgets
- Support the BU in preparing PowerPoint presentations for business updates and reviews
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, meeting internal and corporate deadlines
- Act as key user of Fluence, the financial consolidation reporting tool
- Perform ad hoc financial tasks as needed to support operational and strategic goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–5 years of controlling experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in an international business environment is an advantage
- Proactive, analytical, and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with ERP systems and Power BI is a plus
- Effective communication skills and good command of English
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative team spirit
